What Is Mental Wellbeing ?

The state of mind is an integral component of overall well-being. We often view health as something that is biological and physical, like the state of our physical bodies, the food we eat and the physical activity we perform. The most crucial aspect of health is left out of this however. It’s the mental well-being that encompasses our inner workings as well as the way we express what we’re doing in our lives.

  • Act (in opposition to passive mind and lifestyle that is based on just waiting for things to improve)


Together, this is what defines mental health. It’s the intention of moving forward with determination and focus.

Examples of Mental Wellbeing

The concept of wellbeing is a myriad of things. These examples of mental wellness are just a few ways that people can be mentally healthy.

  • The person who loses his job and makes use of his passion for taking classes and begin new job that is more in line with his interests
  • The woman who is determined to go to shows, performances, or museums, because she is filled with happiness and inspires when she attends

A person suffering from mental illness can attain mental health; similarly anyone who is not suffering from physical or mental illness could be in a bad state of mental well-being.
